Professional Training Driver Education focuses on preparing you, the Driver, for life-long, safe Driving Habits.

Driver education offers many benefits; possible Insurance discounts, reduced wait time for G1 exit test etc. The most important benefit, however, is to prepare for the highest risk you potentially face while driving on Canada’s Highways: a COLLISION. Proper training in defensive/proactive driving could help save your life. Our goal is to inspire you, our clients, to master the techniques necessary to establish a lifetime of safe, collision-free driving.

Our instructors at PT Driver Education are professionally trained. They are certified by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario with every instructor holding a valid Ontario Driving Instructor licence. We endeavour to provide the best service possible. We are also constantly innovating our classroom methods in order to present information by the most effective means.

Our Office is currently closed due to the Government order. All in-car and In-classroom lessons are suspended until we are given permission from MTO and the Public Health. We continue to offer the Digital online course where students can complete the classroom portion of the course from home working at their own pace.  The safety of our staff, students and the community is of utmost importance, especially at this time.   We will continue to monitor the situation and update our website accordingly.  Thank you for your continued interest in PT Driver Education.  Take care and stay safe.

As a result of the Provincewide Shutdown (https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-provincewide-shutdown), on December 26, all in-vehicle passenger tests are cancelled across Northern Ontario until January 9 and for all 27 public health unit regions in Southern Ontario until January 23.

Road test cancellations are without penalty. DriveTest clients will receive a credit in the system in order to rebook their test when the Provincewide Shutdown period ends and the region is at a lower-risk COVID-19 level.

DriveTest centres will remain open for essential indoor services, such as knowledge tests, with capacity limits and COVID-19 preventative measures in place.
